Guidestones is a fast-paced thriller that blurs the line between reality and fiction, encouraging the audience to engage with the storyline through a variety of clues and hidden messages. Filmed on location in 6 countries, the series exists in a unique interactive format, distributed across multiple platforms.
In season 1, Guidestones follows journalism students Sandy (Supinder Wraich) and Trevor (Dan Fox) as they plunge into a world of mystery. Inspired by true events, Sandy and Trevor uncover clues that lead to the discovery of a global conspiracy surrounding the Georgia Guidestones, a real-life monument nestled in rural Georgia, inscribed with directions for rebuilding civilization after the apocalypse.
French heartthrob Arnaud Binard (Emily in Paris, Modern Family) stars in season 2 as Brooklyn Cott, a rare art dealer with a secret past. Cott joins Sandy on a quest to find the “Sunflower Noir”, a priceless Van Gogh painting that vanished upon the artist’s death.
Guidestones won the 2013 International Emmy Award for Best Digital Program: Fiction. The series also swept the triple crown of Canadian accolades: The Rockie, The Digi, and the Canadian Academy Award.
